Mr. Barclay taught English in Davis, California for ten years, and has worked in education for the past fifteen. His passion for teaching started as an AVID tutor, providing support and intervention for students bound for success. He received his Bachelors in English from UC Riverside, as well as his master's in Educational Technology from National University in Torrey Pines. During his time as an English teacher, he enjoyed teaching students to write and think for themselves, as well as assisting beginning teachers through their Induction Support program - mentoring instructors from all disciplines and grade levels. Mr. Barclay is completing his second master’s degree in Supervision and Leadership through USU, and is honored to work at VHS. He is excited to continue his journey at Venture Academy, and strengthen the growth of all students!
