Donations

We need donations to help get our school started!

Although charter schools receive their funding from the state, new charter schools typically don't receive their full allotted amount until after the first school year has begun. We rely heavily on donations from individuals, families and businesses to make our school work. We greatly appreciate anything you, your family, or your business can offer us. All donations are tax deductible!

We are particularly in need of the following items:

Computers

  • Any extra PCs you may have. It doesn't matter how old they are. Even Pentium 2s and Pentium 3s will work for us! (More)
    Every classroom at Venture Academy will have its own thin client computer lab. Thin clients are computers that don't require a hard drive and use minimal memory but pack a powerful punch, and rely mostly on a central server's resources rather than their own. Most of the donated computers will be turned into thin clients.
  • Monitors, either CRTs or LCDs.
  • Laptops.
  • Anything else you'd be willing to offer, including network routers, switches, network cards, DDR RAM, hard drives, flash drives, projectors, etc.

Financial contributions are welcome and greatly appreciated, too. If you would like a money donation to go toward a specific aspect of the school, please be sure to indicate that in the form below.
